Link privacy

This smart link uses first-party, pseudonymous analytics so BORETS LAB can understand how links shared on social platforms perform and improve the handoff to YouTube.

Data recorded

Visit time, approximate country/region/city when supplied by the hosting platform, referral source, link placement and UTM campaign tags, device category, operating system, browser or in-app browser, language, time zone, screen size, and link-opening events.

Browser identifiers

A random first-party identifier is saved in local browser storage for approximate unique-visitor counts. A separate identifier lasts only for the current browser tab. The server converts both identifiers into one-way salted hashes before storing them.

Data not stored by this site

Names, email addresses, social-media usernames, YouTube accounts, exact GPS location, and raw IP addresses are not stored in the analytics database. The hosting provider may process network information as needed to deliver and secure the site.

Purpose and sharing

The data is used only for internal traffic measurement, campaign attribution, security, and improving the channel-link experience. It is not sold and is not used to build advertising profiles.
